Summer Adventures
When school is out, the fun begins at Ideal Daycare. Our summer program is specifically curated to keep children active and engaged while preventing "summer slide." We move the classroom outdoors, utilizing local parks and community resources to provide a diverse range of experiences—from science experiments in the sun to creative arts and exciting field trips across Edmonton.
Field Trips
Weekly excursions to local museums, splash parks, and zoos to expand horizons and build memories.
Outdoor Exploration
Daily physical activity in the fresh air, including organized sports, nature walks, and group games.
Creative Projects
Large-scale art projects and STEM challenges that encourage collaboration and messy, hands-on fun.
Themed Weeks
Every week features a new theme—like "Space Week" or "Under the Sea"—to drive learning and excitement.
Program Details
- Full-day care available throughout July and August
- Qualified educators providing high-level supervision and engagement
